Kent Pro Painting provide a website ‘Kent Pro Painting.co.uk’ which connects customers’ painting and decorating job needs to available trusted trade contractors. The platform also provides advertising and details for Kent Pro Painting and decorating services.
We do not provide financial or other advice in relation to the painting and decorating services, nor do we provide recommendations or endorsements. When it comes to providers, we don’t have favourites. We offer trade contractors the opportunity to connect with the painting and decorating customer on a fair, first come, first serve basis. We cannot guarantee the legitimacy or otherwise of tradespeople in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to provide a space to link those individuals but the checks with any trade bodies or review sites about the tradesperson remains the responsibility of you the ultimate customer.
What you should do
Before using our platform, we recommend that you read all of the Terms and conditions to ensure that you understand them and are happy with them. When accessing any other websites managed by third parties such as the trade contractors’ you should also read their terms and conditions and privacy information, as well as seek independent advice where necessary, for example, if the service or transaction on that website is of significant value to you. Whilst we vet the list of trade contractors to ensure they are trusted, insured and experienced we cannot guarantee that all contractors are insured and it is up to you to check this information.
What you must do
You must only use the ‘Kent Pro Painting.co.uk’ platform for your personal use (including use on behalf of your friends and family where they have asked you to do so) or, if a business user, for legitimate business use.
You will need to complete, or have previously completed, several questions on the sign up form to create a painting and decorating job requirement advert. These questions are designed to ensure that we and all relevant product or service providers have all the information necessary to provide you with accurate, appropriate, and timely information relating to the service that you are interested in.
You must provide accurate and complete information when using this platform so that our selected third party, can provide appropriate contact and give you an independent quote. To agree to the service you have requested on our platform you will be required to answer the contact from the service provider directly and deal with them as a separate entity from hereon in. You must be a resident of the United Kingdom (“UK”) to use the platform. You must not install or use the platform on a jail-broken or rooted device. You must not share your ‘Kent Pro Painting.co.uk’, login details and passwords we make available to you with any third party. You will not do anything that affects the integrity or security of this platform, or cause, or may cause harm, damage or unreasonable inconvenience to us or other users’ use of this platform.
What may happen if you don’t adhere to these terms
If a painting and decorating job requirement advertisement is not fully completed through the form or is inaccurate we reserve the right to remove your job advert at any time.
What we will do
We will (if there are no issues) display your job advertisement on our platform login area online for registered and trusted trade contractors to view restricted details and purchase the contact details should they wish to contact you and provide an estimated quote. Any jobs advertised will also be able to view within your Account. You can stop this service and remove the job advertisement you have placed or amend details on the job advertisement by contacting us via the methods provided in these Terms. The service we provide may vary from time to time, our contractor availability is subject to change at any time and we do not guarantee that someone will contact you and we do not state within a specific time frame.
What we may do
If you breach these terms and conditions, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including denying you access to this platform, bringing legal proceedings against you and disclosing information we deem necessary, or are required to disclose, to appropriate legal and/or regulatory bodies.
What we won’t do
We do not provide financial, investment or other advice relating to the painting and decorating service being advertised, nor do we provide a recommendation or endorsement of any service providers.
Once you the customer have made the decision to go ahead with a trusted trade contractor that has contacted you directly our job as Kent Pro Painting finishes. We connect you with each other and we hope everything runs as smoothly as possible from here on in. However, should any enquiries or complaints arise regarding the trade contractor’s service, all communication should be between you the customer and the chosen contractor. Kent Pro Painting does not assume responsibility for any further service once the connection has been made and the painting and decorating job has been accepted.
Exceptions and Other Potential Issues
We rely on the availability of third-party websites and the general performance of the worldwide web. At certain times some, or all functionality and features may not be displayed to you due to problems with third-party websites and/or the worldwide web. If this is the case, we will try and rectify this as soon as possible so that you can access and use our platform accordingly.
Whilst we strive to provide as comprehensive and easy to use a service as possible, the requirements for your job advertisement may not be met if they are unusual. If so, please contact a trade contractor directly to discuss your needs and requirements.
Privacy and Security Info
Our GDPR and Privacy Policy sets out how we and our partners use your information. If your details change, remember that you need to update your Account so we can continue to accurately provide you with our services (you can also update your contact preferences in there).
Once a trade contractor decides to purchase your job advert only then will the personal contact information you have provided, be passed to such provider to allow them to fulfil your request. We do not share your personal contact details with any other trade contractor.

Our platform contains links to websites operated by other organisations. These websites should only be accessed if you agree to these Terms.
How these websites are managed and the contents of them are determined by these organisations who operate them. Access to other websites may be subject to different terms and conditions to those which apply to your use of this platform.

How we make money
Information on how we make money: We charge a fee to trade contractors to purchase your job advertisement details, so that they can contact you and provide a quote for the painting and decorating job. We also act as a painting and decorating contractor and carry out jobs.
We do not control the price, length of some offers, or special conditions relating to estimated quotes from trade contractors. If you obtain a quote and would like to see how long it is valid for or any special conditions relating to it, please contact the trade contractor directly.
Product and service providers’ prices, rates and offer times are updated and amended on a regular basis. This means that they are subject to change.

Service standards
We aim to provide a high standard of service to all our customers. Unfortunately, occasionally things do go wrong. When this happens, we will make every effort to settle complaints quickly and fairly.
Complaints about our platform
If your complaint is about the painting and decorating service received from a third party trade contractor then you should complain directly to the relevant service provider who supplies or supplied that service via their complaints procedure which can be found on their website. We cannot answer complaints on behalf of a third party trade contractor service provider or accept responsibility for any such complaints.

This will help us to respond to you as quickly as possible. If we do not have enough information to investigate your complaint, we will try and contact you to ask for further details.
Complaint Response Timescales
If we resolve your complaint by close of business on the third business day following the day on which it is received, we will send you a written summary of the resolution. This will confirm that your complaint has been resolved. If we are unable to resolve your complaint by close of business on the third business day following the day on which it is received, we will send a written acknowledgment of your complaint to you within five working days of its receipt. By the end of eight weeks after receipt of your original complaint letter we will send you a final response or, if we are unable to provide a response at that time, a letter explaining why we are still not able to issue a final response and advising you of when we expect to be able to do so. Ending your access to the Platform or Services
We may issue a warning, temporarily suspend, permanently suspend, or terminate your right to use this platform if you:

What we will do
We will (if there are no issues) display job adverts on our platform login area online for you the trusted trade contractors to view restricted details and purchase the contact details should you wish to contact a customer and provide an estimated quote. Any job details purchased will also be able to view within your Account.
You can stop this service, and remove the contractor profile you have placed or amend details on the contractor profile by doing this yourself in your account or contacting us via the methods provided in these Terms.
The service we provide may vary from time to time, our customer and job details availability are subject to change at any time and we do not guarantee jobs will always be displayed and we do not state a specific time frame.
Trade Contractor contacting the customer
If you cannot get hold of the customer with the contact details provided within 5 working days of purchasing the job lead we will endeavour to try and provide a full refund to you. Please contact us at: sarah@kentpropainting.co.uk between 12pm and 5pm Monday to Friday to request a full refund. We will firstly try to contact the customer and resolve the problem. If they are uncontactable and no communication has been made between you and the customer then we will try to provide a full refund to you the contractor. If you contact the customer and provide an estimated quote, then the lead has been connected and our connection service has been provided. As a result, whether or not the customer decides to go ahead or not with you and your service. It is your responsibility and no refund will be applicable from our service, should they decide to look elsewhere. Furthermore, if you have contacted the customer and given an estimated quote and they decided to go ahead with your service and this has been fulfilled successfully, then obviously no refund will be applicable from our service and would be deemed as fraudulent.

However, should any enquiries or complaints arise regarding the trade contractor’s service, all communication should be between the customer and the chosen trade contractor. Kent Pro Painting does not assume responsibility for any further service once the connection has been made and the painting and decorating job has been accepted.
